Get your gangster kicks by seeing festival’s flicks
Film fans can enjoy a triple bill of criminally good cinema in South Molton next month.
The town is holding its first ever film festival at the George Hotel during half-term week in February.
The South Molton Film Society event has been billed as a Valentine Movie Massacre and features two evening and one matinee screening.
Kicking off the programme is the classic Billy Wilder comedy Some Like It Hot, with Jack Lemon and Tony Curtis in drag, on Thursday, February 16, from 8pm, then at the same time on Friday, February 17, you can see Paul Newman and Robert Redford in The Sting. Completing the bill is Alan Parker’s Bugsy Malone, which is being shown at 11am on Saturday, February 18.
A festival ticket for all three films cost £10 and singles are £5 adult, £3 children.
Films are shown on a five-metre screen.
