Concept lands £3m contract

CONCEPT Staffing has won a contract with Teignbridge District Council, South Hams District Council and West Devon Borough Council worth almost £3m.

The recruitment firm beat 25 others from across the UK to win the contract to find the councils temporary staff.

The initial three-year contract will see Concept supply the councils with a wide range of temporary workers, including administrative staff, benefit assessors and surveyors, as well as refuse loaders and street cleansers.

Area manager Noel Hoare said: "This is fantastic news for Concept, especially when you consider that we only opened our branches in Newton Abbot and Torquay 15 months ago."
