Echo's green bags message spreading as far as Moscow

Not only can they be spotted in Exeter streets but also, it seems, in the streets of Moscow.
Natalia Gubina, the manager of Exeter House in Exeter's Russian twin city of Yaroslavl, was pictured using a green bag on her recent trip to Moscow.
The bag was given to Natalia by an Exeter resident on a recent visit to Russia.
And coming up is the last chance to get your hands on one of the highly regarded green bags.
Tomorrow, the Echo and its partners, Exeter City Council and EDF Energy, will be handing out the final 2,000 bags.
There will be some for St Thomas, Topsham, Whipton, Heavitree and back where the great bag hand out began, Magdalen Road, in the St Leonard's area of Exeter.
Times for the bag hand-outs are: Cowick Street from 8.45am, Whipton village shops from 10am, Heavitree from 11am, Topsham from 12.15pm and Magdalen Road from 2pm.
Since their launch in June last year, the bags, symbols of our Green Shoppers campaign, which aimed to reduce the amount of plastic bags used in Exeter by 25 per cent over 12 months, have proved exceedingly popular.
Exeter House is a beautiful historic building in the old town part of Yaroslavl.
It was restored with the aid of the city council some years ago — builders and architects were sent out to help, as well as gardeners, to help design and plant an English garden.
It is run as a guest house and provides bed and breakfast as well as having rooms downstairs for English lessons and events which promote English culture.
Natalia manages the house as a business and runs cultural events there as well as promoting links between Yaroslavl and Exeter.
Local historian Todd Gray presented a series of lectures there last year.
