More Exeter and East Devon homes to put on pressure on schools

New housing development to the east of Exeter would trigger the need for urgent investment in local schools, council bosses have warned.

The new town of Cranbrook is just one development on the cards for land between the city, Honiton and Exmouth.

Education bosses say any further housing development in Ottery St Mary, Exmouth and Sidmouth would mean major spending on new school buildings.
