Fly-past plan for pilot's funeral

Large numbers of mourners are due to attend the cremation of Stephen Ford at Exeter on Thursdayat 2pm.
Many motorcycling friends of Mr Ford from Bradham Lane, Exmouth also plan to join a procession by riding their machines in the cortege.
Mr Ford, who was an air ambulance pilot for more than 10 years, was killed when his Triumph Tiger machine left the B3193 near Doddiscombsleigh in the Teign Valley and crashed into a house on Saturday.
The Echo reported this week on tributes and the large number of rescue missions in which Mr Ford took part.
He was also a soldier hero when he helped save lives as a bomb disposal expert.
Mr Ford completed two tours in Northern Ireland and was mentioned in dispatches for helping save lives in the Warrenpoint bombings in 1979, in which 18 people were killed.
The Echo has also received an email tribute from Simon Budd who said: "I am sure that there will be a number of bikers who would want to pay their respects to Steve in the traditional way, by accompanying the funeral procession."
