Paedophile abused boys he groomed through net sites
When police raided Bond's home in St Leonard's, Exeter, they discovered indecent photographs including some of two under-age boys whom he had abused.
Judge Philip Wassall said yesterday he was deeply concerned about the danger that Bond posed to youngsters.
He adjourned sentencing for psychiatric reports to help assess whether he would send Bond to prison indefinitely.
Bond, 32, a self-employed weather forecaster, was remanded in custody. His latest address is in Fore Street, St Ives, Cornwall.
Prosecutor Richard Crabb said a boy last year confided in a friend and teacher about the abuse. He had spoken to a man on a chat room, who called himself 'Older Lad' and had persuaded him into meeting.
They met on several occasions, going to Bond's house, where sexual activity took place. The boy had told Bond that he was 14 years old when they met.
Mr Crabb said: "The boy, in his victim impact statement said he felt dirty and disgusted."
When police raided Bond's home, they found dozens of indecent movies and photographs on his computer, including several of the boy and of another male they traced.
The second boy said Bond had taken photographs of him when he was 16 and that he had been groomed on the internet in an identical way to the first victim.
Police also found Bond had chatted to two 15-year-old boys on the internet, committing a sexual act while communicating with them on a webcam which was filming him.
Defence counsel Jeremy Leaning said that Bond had co-operated with police.
He said: "It's his case that for a short period of time, his moral compass went awry."
Judge Wassall said he was concerned that Bond claimed the young boys had made the first moves.
He said: "Here you have a paedophile trawling the internet, grooming children, making all the running and then somehow saying he's not making the running. It's a very troubled mindset."
Bond, who had no previous convictions, had admitted 21 sexual offences but denied one of the offences of rape with which he was charged. The prosecutor said this offence could lie on file.
He admitted a series of offences from July last year, involving a boy, 14, who cannot be identified. They included meeting the boy for sexual grooming, three charges of sexual activity with a child, one of inciting him into sexual activity and two of rape.
Bond also pleaded guilty to a string of charges from July, last year, four of taking indecent photos of a child and six of making indecent photos.
He admitted two offences of engaging in sexual activity with a child involving using a webcam seen by a youngster under-16. He also pleaded guilty to inciting the distribution of indecent images of children, and a charge of possessing indecent photos of children between March and July, last year, 33 photos at level one, 24 at level two, 22 movies at level two and 40 photos at level three. Images are graded from levels one to five, which is the worst possible.
