“ Venezia offers a really interesting mix of cultures, with nice Italian food being served, salsa dancing taking place on various evenings and shishas being offered as well. It's a lovely place to sit out on summer evenings, overlooking the quay, and can help you dream about being abroad for a moment or two. Staff are really friendly and there's often offers on the food, particuarly the good-sized pizzas. ”

Welcome to Bar Venezia!
Bar Venezia is a Mediterranean bar, café and music dance club situated on the quayside of the River Exe in Exter. We provide an authentic and welcoming atmosphere whatever time of the day you may choose to visit.
Enjoy a light lunch and a cappuccino by the river during the day, or an intimate and romantic dinner in the evening which can be followed by an exhilarating Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, or Kizomba dance class.
We can accommodate large family groups, parties, and other function groups in our comfortable restaurant, and our extensive menu is sure to serve something to suit everyone including Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Greek dishes. We have meat, pasta, and vegetarian dishes, as well as a children's menu and an appetising dessert menu.

Great option
“Owners are nice and friendly, food is good and you can combine the meal with a walk by the river. Also they do buy one get one free from Monday to Thursdays. ”
