“ This is one of the most popular places to eat in Exeter, and has been going for over 100 years. Ale drinkers are spoilt for choice as there is a huge selection of locally brewed ales that are easily drinkable! This is a great place for families with a huge garden and free mini golf to keep them entertained! Last time I went I enjoyed garlic mushrooms with a garlic cream dip, followed by fisherman's pie. There is a carvery open every day too! ”

“It's becoming a bit of a tradtion in our house to visit this pub on a sunday, and once you try the carvery you'll know why. Very tasty meat with vegetable portions as big as you like, you certainly will not complain of going home hungry. Although more expensive than a Toby Carvery the food is worth the extra few pence. There is also a wide range of fantastic 'country wines', although beware the blackberry wine is particularly potent!”
