“ I have recently become interested in this subject and was evry pleased to find a local shop offering a personal service. As a new comer, it was very reassuring to have someone prepared to spend time explaining each of the steps. I could have looked on the internet for all the answers, but nothing beats having it explained on a one to one basis, and being able to return with any odd questions, no matter how silly. See for yourself ”

“We moved down from London and cant believe the delights of this little shop. Customer services is a thing of the pass in the big shops of London, but Ian provides custom services to the highest standard and nothing is to much trouble. Ian is at hand to offer advice and pass on his extensive knowledge, if you are looking for something that Ian dont stock he will order it for you.”

“My friend and I have been coming here for nearly two years for all of our home brew needs. Even if you need to pop in for a bit of advise, the service is warm and welcoming as well as extremely knowledgable. Good to see an independent shop offering the personal touch in the modern world of giant supermarkets. In the world of home brew, you name it, it stocks it!!!”

“I popped into Cowick Homebrew towards the end of last year looking for a premium brand of homebrew wine which was not stocked, however, due to Ian's friendly manner, advice and clear knowledge of the market I thought I would give the own label "Cowick Merlot/Shiraz" a go- being told it was comparable. I have to say it is even better, and cheaper, than what I was looking for!
I have been back and bought some more and have now given up on other homebrew suppliers as you don't just get great products at keen prices here, but also a warm welcome and great advice- what else could you ask for?”

“I went in here as was looking to start making own wine and Ian was very helpful and gave great advice. He knows his stuff!! I now pay about £1 peer bottle of wine using his excellent Cowick Wines. Would thoroughly recommend this shop and even better he now also stocks Sodastream as well as normal everyday kitchen products. So whether you are looking to make your own beer, wine cider etc or just looking for a new kitchen apron this is definitely the place to come.”
