City face Leeds opener
The Grecians will make the trip to Elland Road to face the title favourites after Paul Tisdale's side sealed promotion into the third tier of English football for the first time since 1990.
City's first home league game will see them entertain relegated Norwich City at St James's Park on August 15 before Yeovil Town make the short trip to Devon on August 18.
The back-to-back home fixtures are then followed by the long trip to Carlisle United before Milton Keynes Dons are the visitors to St James's Park on August 29.
The Grecians travel to Charlton Athletic on September 26 and Bristol Rovers on December 1.
Paul Tisdale's side face a clash with Southampton at St Mary's on Boxing Day and make the long trip to Norwich City on January 9.
Over the Easter period City will entertain Colchester United on April 3 and will travel to Brentford on Easter Monday.
City's run in sees them entertain Charlton, take on Hartlepool and then welcome Huddersfield Town to St James's Park on the last day of the season.
