Lee and James warm up for British Isles Championships
A fourth win in a row has put Devon 34 points ahead of second-placed Dorset in the Group Six table.
Elsie Copp (Exeter Nomads) and Emma Trott (Musbury) were in the Devon A team that beat Somerset 28-12 to stand top of their table, just 11 points ahead of second-placed Somerset.
"With two more games to play both teams are looking good to go further in the competition," said county secretary Irene Smith (Exeter Nomads).

In the EIBA Denny Cup inter-club championships, a thoroughly professional display from Newquay overcame Madeira 84-56.
David Roe arrived with two sets of woods to try out on the Madeira rink before beating Terry Reardon 17-14 and teammate Duncan Haynes defeated John Flockhart 20-18.
In the previous round, Flockhart's rink dropped a seven on the last end but still won — this time they dropped a five on the last end, which robbed his rink of a victory.
But it was away from home where the damage was done. Despite a super win for Jim Bradford, Mike Gorman, Mick Powell and Cliff Skinner (17-15), John Smerdon lost 32-7.
"We got stuffed," admitted Madeira's England outdoor team manager.
Madeira team captain Keith Weekes added: "By all accounts, whenever John went to the head he was often five or six shots down."
In the DCLIBA Lane Trophy, reigning champions Isca beat Exonia 82-55 to get their season off to a great start.
In the EWIBA pairs, Eve Lugg and Olive Bird (Isca) won away at Honiton, beating Pearl Hackwood and Rota Barwick. Today, at Carnmoggas, Devon ladies — with Exonia's Joy Penberthy in the team — are facing Cornwall in the EWIBA Atherley Trophy inter-county championships.
In the Foxlands Trophy, Padbrook Park beat Axminster 88-70. Axminster's Kay Smith, Margaret Bartlett, Jan Parsons, and Chris Barber did win, 22-19.
In the EWIBA Egham Trophy inter-club mixed team competition, former national champions Exonia were beaten 90-66 by Torquay United.
At Exonia, Nathan Farrant was beaten 21-15 by Torquay's Sam Tolchard but home skip Kevin Phillips drew 19-19 with Craig Down.
At Torquay, both the home rinks won with John Evans beating Bill Davies 33-16 and Griff Sanders beating Simon Stevens 17-16.
In the EIBA Over-60s inter-club championships, Isca beat North Devon 45-44, Cyril Harrison's rink having won the extra end in the event that both teams finished all-square.
And that is exactly what happened after Chris Keyte fought back well to win by three shots at home and Harrison went down by three shots to Julian Beer in North Devon.
"We were in the lead for all of the game until they drew level on the 20th end and picked up three shots on the last end," said Harrison, who was no doubt relieved to hear that clubmates Mike Grinham, Derek Peek, Alan Mann and Keyte had won the home leg 22-19.
"They were four shots adrift at 17 ends but pulled the match around to win by three shots which was an excellent result," said Harrison.
His side will play now Torbay A, after the South Devon club side beat Mid Devon 44-37.
Merv Grimsey and his Mid Devon teammates saw their chances of progress slip away in the closing stages.
"It was very hard fought and, after the 19th end, there was only two shots in the match," said Grimsey.
"But the Mid Devon players were unable to hold on."
Jack Gill, Dennis Blackwell, Roger Workman and Alec Collard (16-21) lost at home with the away rink of Brian Greenslade, Jimmy Bowler, Dave Robinson, Peter Curgenven (21-23) just missing out.
At Uffculme Bowls Club's anual general meeting, club secretary Tony Wills, who has held the post for 10 years, stood down. Alan Ward has now taken on the role.
Club president, Alan Jenkins paid tribute to the work that Wills had done for the club during his tenure.
He remaqins the club's vice-president, men' s vice-captain and over-60s captain.
