Rogers remains keen on keeper and striker Yiga

But the Yellows chief admits the Frenchman's future is out of his hands while he remains on trial at League One Yeovil Town.
Rogers is also interested in signing striker Lawrence Yiga, but he is on trial at Torquay United and so Gulls boss Paul Buckle has first refusal on the 20-year-old.
After watching Yiga play and impress for his Tivvy side against Plymouth Argyle on Monday night, Rogers said: “Young Lawrence showed some good touches.
“If we can get the running from whoever's playing with him then he would be a big threat at this level — he won so many headers.
“But that's me thinking we are going to keep hold of him — we have a lot of work to do for that to happen.
“Martini is another who has done well and he could be another, but I need to speak to (Yeovil boss) Russell (Slade) first.”
While there could be two signings in the pipeline for Rogers, it looks like he may have lost the services of Danny O'Brien until the autumn.
The former Yeovil Town winger is suffering with a hernia problem and the Tivvy manager fears he may require lengthy treatment.
Rogers said: “Danny looks like he will need an operation. He's seeing a specialist at the end of this week and then we'll look at him.
“It's disappointing for the lad but he's had it on and off and kept it a bit quiet. You can never tell with youngsters how bad they are because they want to play.
“He hasn't been the same player since the end of last season, but if we get him sorted he will be back in for October.”
One player who could fill in for the absent O'Brien is Mike Booth, who returned to the first team on Monday after 12 months out with a cruciate knee ligament injury.
Adam Faux is another who could play on the right and he performed admirably in that role against Plymouth, even if he did not have the pace to keep up with Jamie Mackie in the first half.
Rogers said: “Adam Faux did okay. He is very good defensively.
“If you have a good defensive player and he's also good going forward then he wouldn't be here. Adam's a steady defender who will get up and down and work.
“We have got to give him an opportunity to get on the ball and pick out good passes and we will probably get more out of him playing at our level.”
One negative to come out of the Plymouth game was the unexplained absence of Radley Veale.
The midfielder took a nasty blow on the neck after he fell awkwardly against Torquay United but Rogers said he was expected to be fit enough to turn out against Plymouth.
Rogers said: “Radley should have been here. I don't know why he didn't turn up so I need to get hold of him.
“I was pleased as punch with the players. There were a lot more positives than negatives to come out of the game.”
Keeper Pierre Martini made his second penalty save in two games during Monday night's 1-0 defeat to Plymouth at Ladysmead phil mingo/pinnacle
