WALSALL goalkeeper David Grof has branded Saturday's trip to Yeovil Town a 'massive game' in the club's bid to avoid the drop.

The Saddlers are on a six-match unbeaten run, including a win over Sheffield United and a draw against Hartlepool United.

Grof, 22, has kept four clean sheets in that time, and the Hungarian feels the club could take another step towards safety.

"Saturday is a massive game," he said. "Everyone knows we have to keep beating all the teams who are down there with us and Yeovil are no exception.

"If we can travel down there and put a repeat performance in like we did against Sheffield United and Hartlepool then I think we've got every chance of beating them.

"To take seven points out of three very tough fixtures would certainly be a good achievement for us."

Charlton Athletic boss Chris Powell wants a response from his side at Scunthorpe on Saturday after shock home setbacks against Colchester United and Notts County slowed their promotion push.

"We've lost two football matches at home after previously having a fantastic home record, and we have had a week which we will look back on with not too much pride," he said.

"But we have to respond from it and move on and get ready for Scunthorpe."

Sunderland striker Jordan Cook wants to extend his loan spell at Carlisle United.

Cook came off the bench to score his first goal for the Brunton Park side in Saturday's 4-1 win over Bury – supposedly his last game for the club.

"It's going to take a few days to sort out what happens from here," he said.

"As far as I'm concerned if I'm playing and scoring goals then I don't see why I shouldn't stay on."
