Full time report: Wycombe 0 Exeter City 1
EXETER City moved up to ninth in the League Two table after claiming an unlikely three points away at Wycombe Wanderers on New Year's Day.
John O'Flynn got the only goal of the game with seven minutes to go, but City were made to work hard for their victory after Jamie Cureton was shown a straight red card for kicking out at Anthony Stewart midway through the first half.

It was a game of very few chances, especially in the first 45 minutes when neither keeper was forced into a meaningful save.
However, Wycombe were gifted a golden chance to take the lead in the 53rd minute when Steve Tully upended Joel Grant in the penalty box.

Grant stepped up to take the penalty, but Artur Krysiak dived to his left to save. Grant put in the rebound, but was adjudged to have used his hand in doing so and the home side's opportunity was missed.
Wycombe pressed forward for much of the second half, but it was Exeter City who hit them on the counter as Gow chipped a pass into O'Flynn in the box and he drilled a low, left-footed strike under goalkeeper Jordan Archer. The ball appeared to be trickling its way over the line, but was bundled into the back of his own net by Kortney Hause - leaving O'Flynn to stake a claim for the goal after the match.
However, the award for the man-of-the-match was in little dispute at the final whistle as Krysiak produced another stunning save to deny Stewart pulling Wycombe level with a volley from the edge of the box.
