Lighting: Is appropriate lighting installed, operational and maintained regularly? Is suitable lighting left on at night, inside and out? Are all entry points and exits illuminated?
Property Design: Is there adequate fencing on the boundary? Are hiding places reduced to a minimum? Check for points of access, how you might try to gain access. Do you have CCTV covering sensitive areas? Is there protection against entry through the roof?
Doors & windows: Are all external doors and windows solidly constructed? Are the doors fitted with appropriate locks? Are the windows lockable and laminated to prevent access? Are skylights secured?
